Born in Paris but calling Tokyo home from the age of four, Alex from Tokyo grew up amid the sounds and spectacles of earth’s largest city.

His new Japan Vibrations Vol. 1 compilation takes you on a trip back into the halcyon era of Japan’s electronic music scene, and features tracks by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono, Yasuaki Shimizu, Quadra (Hiroshi Watanabe) and Prism (Susumu Yokota).

Whilst living in Paris he formed the DJ trio A Deep Groove alongside DJ Deep and DJ Gregory – known for their now-legendary lunchtime radio show on Paris’ Radio FG 98.2 fm.
