PELLYVISION is a monthly cohesion of sound and vision. Each episode features a musical performance and/or dj set from a different artist, which Alex Pelly visually accompanies by synthesizing live audio reactive video using a modular synthesizer and other analog technology.
ABOUT PEDESTRIAN DEPOSIT:
Reverse tension, abrasive composition. The collaborative work of Shannon A. Kennedy and J. Borges is best described as visceral and narrative; highly composed, often abstract sound textures informed by elements of experimental sound, harsh noise, musique concrete, neo-classical, dark ambient and performance art but is not beholden to any one genre.
In a live context, the duo places an emphasis on the development and evolution of physical, psychological and organic live performance.
