Rimini-born artist & Mixed Up label head / former record store owner Danilo Betti aka April Clocks makes hypnotic drone, ambient, shoegaze and Warp-influenced electronic music, encompassing dream states and unfiltered minimalism from the Adriatic.
April Clocks released a debut EP ‘Due Lune’ in 2014 before unveiling an album entitled ‘Deaf Youth’ in 2018. The project then returned in 2022 after a hiatus with the Union Editions release ‘It Takes Time‘, returning to the label in 2023 with the album ‘Rituals‘.
The project’s recent releases have been mastered by Miles Whittaker (Full Range Mastering / Demdike Stare) and Betti has previously released records by the likes of Pearl River Sound, Isorinne, Your Planet is Next & X.Y.R.
