For this episode of Hey DJ, we welcome a true veteran of the Los Angeles underground music world. Originally from LA, Josh McClintock aka Josh from NY aka Curious Josh, has been DJ-ing for roughly 23 years from Los Angeles to New York and now back in LA. Josh’s résumé runs quite deep in the DJ world, especially here in LA. Throughout the early to mid 90’s he was opening for the party, Unlock the House which was headlined by another LA legend who goes by the name of Doc Martin. Then in 1996 he moved to New York where helped run a family business but never stopped playing records. And in 2010 he returned to LA. And has been a staple, a pillar to the ever growing scene of greater Los Angeles. His styles may have varied throughout his 23 years of experience, but has mostly been known for his banging sounds and increasingly banging beats.
