Seeking to subvert any expectations the listener may have, Change of Heart takes a fearless approach to genre-bending. Your gracious host, Dara Genesis, is joined every month by guests from all different avenues of electronic music for limitless sonic exploration. With a bass-forward mindset, the show is ultimately open format and a love letter to the spirit of discovery found in the underground.
SUPPA is a passionate DJ and avid lover of breaks, bass, UKG, drum and bass, jungle, club music, and more. Since beginning her DJ journey in 2018, she has focused on promoting diversity in the music scene and celebrating her unique musical selections through her DJ and radio sets. SUPPA’s path started as a member of the Deejays and Vinylphiles Club at UCSD and as a radio show host at UCSD’s KSDT. Currently, she represents several collectives dedicated to inclusivity and the empowerment of underrepresented artists and communities within dance culture. Since 2022, Callie has hosted the bi-weekly radio show “Bops N Drops” on Particle FM, a DIY community internet radio station in San Diego. She is also involved in femme-forward, queer DJ workshops with @bass.n.babes and serves as a resident DJ for @getweird_sd.
Through these efforts, SUPPA aims to create safe and inclusive spaces for queer, femme, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ individuals in music, while uplifting the creativity of this vibrant community. Her dedication to radical self-expression through music has allowed her to cultivate a well-rounded perspective on electronic music and the broader music culture in Southern California.
