Loosely Attached explores music and the industry in a a contrasting but congruent way. As a multi-part show, it features conversations between artists and scene figures who haven’t previously met, accompanied by original music and live sets from L.A. based artists.

This month the guys have a sit down with AJ, The One and Giovanni Marks to talk about their evolution as artists and the importance of being in tune with the ever-changing technology that serves as a medium for spreading hip hop. AJ, the One is a music artist, art director, and media producer from Inglewood, CA. She embodies the city’s cultural duality — raised in the avenues and rooted in the matriarchal powers that hold them afloat. AJ, the One completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley as a Media Studies major. Giovanni Marks, better known by his stage name Subtitle, is a rapper and producer based in Los Angeles, California. He is one half of the duo Lab Waste alongside Thavius Beck. He has also collaborated with other artists such as K-the-I???, Busdriver and Islands.
