Hosted by Celia Hollander, Jeremiah Chiu, Ben Babbitt, and Booker Stardrum, the Drive-in Concert was a live performances held in a van in a parking lot—broadcast hyper-locally via shortwave fm-transmitter—for us to gather safely—isolated, yet together via the comfort of their own vehicles. As an alternative to the postponed March (2020) Residency at Zebulon, Drive-in Concert extends the ongoing collaboration between Ben Babbitt, Booker Stardrum, Celia Hollander, and Jeremiah Chiu, coalescing their individual experimental practices into a cohesive vision amidst challenging times.
