This week Frosty is joined by Brazilian artist Malena Stefano for a conversation and guest mix. Her new album Impossível is a sublime work.
Malena Stefano is a singer, songwriter and screenwriter. She currently resides in Curitiba. In 2015 she moved to Brasília and participated in the city’s experimental music scene, performing in art galleries and small events. In 2019 she began writing what would become her first album Impossível is 30 minutes of female drama telling the story of a girl trapped in a dungeon by a God named “Impossible”. Her crime was defying him to take control of her own destiny and her sentence was to produce a dungeon pop music album. Malena is a trans woman and her influences goes from pop artists to 80s post punk.
