Dig deep into the abyss of tones, drones, dubs, clubs, riddims and rhythms, smooth grooves and deep moves. Hop aboard the BassShip, sometimes piloted by rad guests captains.

On this month’s episode, Hayes Bradley stops by dublab for an in-person guest mix.

Hayes Bradley is one of the most promising up-and-coming composers, DJs, and producers from Los Angeles, CA. Bradley has become a fixture in electronic music circles. His previous DJ group, American Dance Ghost, toured with Kaytranada around the world in 2022. His recent DJ sets include opening for The Martinez Bros, Diplo & Flume, James Blake, Kelly Lee Owens, and a major slot on Insomniac’s Forever Midnight NYE Festival.

While attending college in Chicago he founded his vinyl-only label These Things Take Time and worked at the legendary Smart Bar. Quickly followed by a chapter of living in Berlin- these experiences anchor his sets with a rare blend of history, depth, and global perspective.

His album, Audience (November 2025) draws from a bevy of foundational influences – the cinematic techno of Moby, the anarchist electropunk of The Prodigy, and the hypnotic production of Jon Hopkins. The album will be followed by a remix package with the likes of Shanti Celeste, Special Request, Priori, and Yu Su.

Hayes also works as a music supervisor and curator for brands like Guess, James Perse, and Burberry. He has scored feature films including Thirsty (dir. Emily Abt), An Autumn Summer (dir. Jared Isaac), and the upcoming mini-series Reentry (dir. Keenan O’Reilly).
