This is the inaugural show in a new occasional series from South London based record label, Hyperdub for dublab. The first episode is hosted by Hyperdub founder Kode9, and features a drive-by on music from recent and forthcoming releases from the label for the first hour. Features music from Burial, Jessy Lanza, Loraine James, the late DJ Rashad, Scratchclart, Fatima al Qadiri, Kode9 and many more. In the second half of the show, he goes in the mix with a hyperactive selection of footwork, jungle, juke and other speedy club music excerpted from his recent session for Barcelona’s Sonar Festival. Kode9 is about to embark on his first North American tour since 2019, with a mixture of DJ sets and showcases of the live a/v show from his recent album Escapology.
