LENGUA is the sonic manifestation of visual artist Eamon Ore-Giron. A member of various hunter gatherer type creative groups such as OJO, VOLUMINOUS SPARKS, and LOS JAICHACKERS. As a pioneer of the so-called “new” cumbia movement LENGUA has released numerous lps and internet mixes that celebrate under-recognized Latin American genres while simultaneously push the sound forward, expanding the possibilities of what a genre can represent. He continues this exploration and experimentation in a broader sense with OJO and VOLUMINOUS SPARKS.
