Freelance music journalist, broadcaster and DJ Martyn Pepperell explores the soulful sounds of 90s/early 2000s hip-hop, rap and neo soul from Aotearoa New Zealand. Featuring groups and solo artists such as Ermehn, Che Fe, Teremoana Rapley, King Kapisi, Sisters Underground, Lost Tribe, Dam Native, Rough Opinion and Sheelaroc, Summer In The Winter is a 60-minute celebration of the era when a generation of local rappers, DJs, producers and musicians found a sound that rang out through the South Pacific.
