A diaspora of musical discoveries, sometimes plaintive, often odd and usually shuffling their way to the outskirts of the dancefloor. Frequently friends drop in to tell us what they’ve seen and more importantly, heard.
Doc Tom is a DJ based in NYC, where he throws an annual summer party series called Good Work. He is also one of the organizers behind the music festival In the Open, whose inaugural event was this past July in upstate New York. Since 2015 he has co-run Boom Service, an online record store whose warehouse is located in Greenpoint.
