The ongoing focus of Beats of All-Nations Radio is finding a common denominator through music from around the world, while continuing to feature known veterans and new artists/producers/djs alike from the cultured community. The past guest roster of Beats of All-Nations Radio show has included live studio sessions by the likes of Lealani, Buyepongo, Beat Cinema, Sumohair & Yanga as well as feature sets/interviews from respected legends like Seun Kuti, B+, Mixmaster Wolf, Danny Holloway. Though we have joined dublab several times on past shows, including a few guest feature broadcasts we have hosted, we’re excited to join the station and look forward to casting out a wider net of sounds, guests, and listeners.
West Coast turntable legend Cut Chemist returned to dublab, with longtime collaborator Mike Styles for an A Stable Sound takeover on Beats of All-Nations.
From 2016-2019, Cut hosted a genre-bending show with Mike by his side, weaving Beats of All-Nations into the fabric of dublab. The duo fell right back into their signature rhythm, delivering the original recipe. Cut took listeners on a journey through influential funk—from L.A. to NOLA and worldwide—followed by a private stash of rare show vinyl spotlighting some of his favorite hip-hop productions. Every track featured served as a preview of what’s available through his A Stable Sound Club.
The show closed with the premiere of “Melt Like Plastic,” a new single from Cut & Chali 2na off their upcoming full-length.
