Sam Farzin is an Los Angeles-born and based musician, artist and DIY lifer who has produced, curated, and/or performed at over 500 shows in LA, across the US, and abroad over the last 20 years.
As the founder and curator of the newly-announced Open Melody music festival, Sam aims to create a genreless and borderless space for adventurous artists from all over the world to come together and share their work in LA. Open Melody is the first independently-produced, globally-minded annual festival of left-of-the-dial sounds in LA in nearly two decades. The first edition takes place from April 3 to 5th 2026 at 2220 Arts + Archives.
