Alison is making her directing debut with Resynator, a documentary that follows her journey to discover her father through a synthesizer he invented in the ’70s. Alison has resurrected the Resynator and is currently crowdfunding in order to finish the film and get a new Resynator out on the market.

Tara is the vocalist/producer behind the band I Speak Machine, a synth driven, audio/visual duo based in LA/UK. I Speak Machine launched a Patreon which features a monthly cover song on digital and 7″ vinyl, t-shirts, sample packs, stems, video studio diaries and musical collaborations.

Alison talked with the audience/listeners about the history of the Resynator: what it is technically, the discoveries she’s made about it, how she ended up with it and where she’s headed. Tara has explored and recorded with the Resynator and will be showcasing some of its features live.
