Sofia Ilyas takes over Made to Move Radio this month for a special two-hour set as she explores ambient, electronic, and instrumental sounds.
Sofia Ilyas is the Chief Community Officer at Beatport. Before joining Beatport, Sofia co-managed Erased Tapes Records for five years and helped kickstart the careers of artists like Nils Frahm and Kiasmos.
Sofia later founded FLOAT, through which she championed the music of Jeff Mills, Christian Loffler and more. Sofia also hosts annual Piano Day events in the National Gallery in London (UK) and Melbourne (Australia). She is known for creating innovative concert experiences.\
