TheyHouse Radio offers a warm and joyful musical journey showcasing the talents of Black queer and trans DJs. This platform pays homage to the Black roots and LGBTQIA pioneers of House music. Founded by Terrell Brooke, a key figure in the L.A. queer community, TheyHouse Radio features a mix of rare Chicago house, Acid tracks, and Deep House classics, alongside the latest productions from both current and legendary Black House producers. Tune in to experience the passion and ingenuity of Black House music.
On this month’s episode, Terrell was joined by special guest DJ Rivussy.
River Collins, known as DJ Rivussy, is a nonbinary Afro-Caribbean DJ and polymath based in North Long Beach and Los Angeles. They have gained popularity in the Los Angeles music scene as an exceptional curator of sound. Their talent for blending genres while highlighting the unique musical landscape of Southern California truly sets them apart.
