TheyHouse Radio offers a warm and joyful musical journey showcasing the talents of Black queer and trans DJs. This platform pays homage to the Black roots and LGBTQIA pioneers of House music. Founded by Terrell Brooke, a key figure in the L.A. queer community, TheyHouse Radio features a mix of rare Chicago house, Acid tracks, and Deep House classics, alongside the latest productions from both current and legendary Black House producers. Tune in to experience the passion and ingenuity of Black House music.

Terrell Brooke kicks off the show with an eclectic mix featuring upbeat, sexy, and occasionally jazzy tones—perfect for getting you moving. In the second hour, Knights of Zion takes the stage with an energetic set filled with complex rhythms and classic gospel house tracks. We truly appreciate a good crate dig when we hear one! Knights of Zion is an LA-based DJ and producer originally from the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, the hometown of Malcolm X and Donna Summer. He immersed himself in the nightclubs and balls of New York City during his youth. Inspired by house music pioneers like Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan, Zion honors the genre’s roots by incorporating African rhythms, gospel, and disco.
In 2019, Knights of Zion founded “Nebula,” a monthly dance party in LA, and he is currently working on an EP.
