Dirty Dave comes direct from Los Angeles where he’s a long time co-host of Things of Life, a weekly radio show on dublab, where he showcases his substantial swath of all-tempo synth / disco /italo / pop / trance / house / techno / boogie / funk / soul / “what else have you got” favorites every Friday from 10am til noon.

Having been introduced to “dance music” & DJing via the D.C. & Baltimore scene of the 90’s at 15 years young, Dave immediately knew that this was going to be more than a party. After moving to California in the late 2000s, he threw Blow Up LA in connection with the SF party of the same name & founded a six year strong weekly Wednesday party Love Thang, where he played host to a laundry list of international talent. From there he enjoyed a residency on The Rooftop at The Standard, Downtown LA until it’s closure in March 2020.

In his 30+ years of playing records, DD’s made quite an impression on many with his broad musical palette & meticulous method of mixing. Comfortable playing everywhere from the wine bar to the warehouse, he’s been a guest of Red Room in Okinawa, Pikes in Ibiza, A Club Called Rhonda & Bears In Space in Los Angeles, Else & Renate in Berlin, Bar Part Time in SF, Caracol & Matiz in São Paulo, Praia Irmao & Vago in Lisbon, Nightmoves in New York, as well as multiple appearances at the Mareh Festival in Brazil.
