Tonight is the opening of “Ante Vos,” a new art exhibition by Mtendere Mandowa aka Teebs and friends. The show at Space 15 Twenty is a continuation of his record sleeve art series launched in 2009. This new blooming offers a collection of 400 vintage records reworked, painted and given new creative life by Mtendere and collaborators. This film by Theo Jemison & StrangeLoop shines insightful light into Teebs’ creative impulse and process.

The Ante Vos show also features three weekends of events at Space 15 Twenty with special visual & sound releases catered specifically to each night.

Music by Free the Robots, Co.fee, Andrew Meza, Arti and Richard Thompson. Release of limited CD at the show opening.

Saturday, March 1st 2-7pm
HANDS UP!: DUBLAB Fundraiser art experiment + live broadcast

Four paintings will be created with participation from the audience. Paintings will be left to hang in the gallery for the remainder of the show & prints will be made to raise funds for DUBLAB. The pieces will also be auctioned off.
