LA born and Boston based DJ, producer, artist and organizer 2004 is the founding member of Boston Gabbers, a Boston based hardcore party crew that specializes in renegade and DIY events. 2004 is a hardcore fanatic and has been dedicated to pushing the hardcore sound coast to coast. 2004 was introduced to Gabber and other hardcore through the LA rave scene when they were in high school. The LA rave scene taught them about DJing and throwing parties, especially renegades. By the time they moved to Boston, 2004 was ready to make a leap of faith and start a new collective and with the help of FEARDOTCOM and Y4NCY, the Boston Gabbers crew has seen great success. 2004 has toured in China and played / organized countless shows in both Boston and LA, spinning vinyl, digital and hardware. 2004 has two albums under their belt and plans to release a third soon. 2004 almost exclusively DJs on vinyl and boasts a large record collection of rare and difficult to acquire hardcore releases.
