Alejandro Cohen is a musician and composer from Los Angeles, California. He has written and performed music as part of numerous projects and groups, including Languis, Pharaohs and Psychic Powers. He is also a composer of music for TV shows, documentaries, and educational materials. Ale is also the Executive Director of dublab.

On his weekly show, Elevation Through Sound, Ale plays the obscure gems your ears have always craved but never come across. “Elevation through Sound” provides lucky listeners with a journey through the full sound spectrum.

“Hi im Dymph from the Netherlands! Last couple years I felt a bit lost in this world and did not know how to make me feel most alive. I realized that music always brings me into certain emotions; black, white and all in between. It brings me back in memories, but also in future dreamings. It is something that smells and sounds do with me. I used to play drums when I was younger so I got into making beats and singing vocals on it as I love to use my voice and put out certain feelings in words. People ask me my genre and I don’t really know where it fits in, but I guess its something in the electronic indie pop atmospheres or just a new kinda genre I would call the void? It feels amazing to finally find my way to put out my emotions and life experiences I have been through in music! Hope I can take you on a journey with me :)”
