alternate realities _black cyberculture is a mini series zooming in and out of the vast frontiers of web 0-3. Through conversation and music, the interview series features black alternative media artists who are pushing the boundaries of the metaverse to examine how the turbulent expansion of cyberspace might influence, shape and impact black creative and digital communities U/IRL.

Annika is an artist, writer and designer exploring the praxis of tenderness, dreaming, and digital gardens. She is also the Head of Design across product and brand at Somewhere Good, an audio platform for intimate community conversations.

JAZSALYN is an artist and technologist whose work begins where fiction and reality collide. Through alternative and computer-based media, she extends the practice of re-indigenization as a ritual to summon and recall ancestral intelligence.

Tyla Pink (aka Virtual Kiss) is a New York-based writer, publicist, and founder of Black Cherry Magazine, a platform supporting Black women and femme artists across mediums. As an extension of her reverence of the arts, she began recording mixes under the alias Virtual Kiss, an endeavor sparked by her adoration of jungle, drum and bass, and trip-hop.
