guest session
05.12.25

Vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Amanda Ekery writes music that lives across borders of genre and style. Amanda’s latest release, Árabe, invites audiences to explore Syrian and Mexican shared history and culture on the El Paso border – the story of her life, lineage and identity. Her bandmates Andrew Boudreau, Jhoely Garay, Jess Tsang, and Emily Johnson-Erday helped shape the album’s sound, as did contemporary and traditional music from the Mexican and Syrian diaspora which you can hear on this playlist.
