UMN (Unknown Movie Night) is AKP Recordings’ recurring series of live, improvised film-scoring events where the selected film is unknown to both audience and band until it begins. Discerning film selectors and a rotating cast of guest musicians join Arthur King in making each event unique, taking participants on a journey into the undiscovered.

Performed through a quadraphonic sound system, this composition is Arthur King’s reaction to Nicolas Winding Refn’s 2011 film Drive, as chosen by the evening’s Film Selector music video director Warren Fu at The River LA on May 16, 2024. For this performance, Arthur King is JOJO ABOT, Lia Braswell, David Ralicke, Tom Ralls, Peter Walker, Senon Williams.
