BENJAMIN WALLFISCH

Golden Globe, BAFTA, 2x Grammy, Emmy, and 5x World Soundtrack Award–nominated composer Benjamin Wallfisch has worked on more than 80 feature films. In 2025, he reunited with Andy Muschietti to score the hit HBO prequel series IT: WELCOME TO DERRY, continuing their long-standing creative partnership, and co-scored the action film PREDATOR: BADLANDS with Sarah Schachner. He also composed the score for WOLF MAN, directed by Leigh Whannell, and co-scored the National Geographic documentary series starring Will Smith, POLE TO POLE WITH WILL SMITH.

His next upcoming project is the highly anticipated sequel to the film based on one of the most iconic fighting game franchises, MORTAL KOMBAT II, which will hit theaters on May 8, 2026.

Wallfisch’s credits include major titles such as TWISTERS, ALIEN: ROMULUS, KRAVEN THE HUNTER, WOLF MAN, BLADE RUNNER 2049 (with Hans Zimmer), IT and IT CHAPTER TWO, SHAZAM!, THE INVISIBLE MAN, THIRTEEN LIVES, THE FLASH, MORTAL KOMBAT, and the Oscar-nominated HIDDEN FIGURES (with Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer). His films have earned over $2.6 billion worldwide, earning him recognition in Variety’s “Billion Dollar Composer” series.

With over 25 albums released, he has performed his music globally with ensembles including the London Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Sydney Symphony. A member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and BAFTA, Wallfisch is also the founder of THE SCORING LAB, a Dolby Atmos–certified studio in Santa Monica.
