adam o - bop it!

Co-hosted by Chris Kissel and Chuck Soo-Hoo, the twice-monthly dublab program Contact Wave enthusiastically celebrates the best experimental, avant-garde, psychedelic, and off-the-grid music crafted in L.A. and beyond.

Our show this week features a live set and interview with Loris S. Sarid, a musician from Rome, now based in Glasgow (Scotland). His interest in music spans from tiny, miniature-like sounds to dance music and ambient. Adding a sense of irony and lightness to music is one of the main focuses of his work. The live set he’s been performing last few months is almost fully improvised, an attempt to reconnect himself and the listener to a simplicity and spontaneity in music making and listening.

Check out Sarid’s latest release, Seabed-Sunbath, out now on Moon Glyph.
