Diego Edelstein (Buenos Aires, 1988) is a DJ, curator and music collector. Since childhood, he has explored sound as a means of connection and discovery; his career reflects a relentless pursuit of linking cultures and sonic landscapes. In every track he seeks authenticity: works of art born from the soul, not the market.
He is the founder of RadioMango Papachango (Buenos Aires and Miami), a station dedicated since 2010 to the promotion of independent, alternative, underground, and experimental music. Alongside notable artists and DJs, he has shared his sets on some of the world’s most influential radio stations, including Radio Raheem Milano (Italy), Le Mellotron (France), Hotel Radio Paris (Paris), Radio Gladys Palmera (Madrid), Radio Alhara (Bethlehem), Dublab (Los Angeles) and Boxout FM (New Delhi), among many other esteemed platforms. His contribution to independent music has been recognized in Italy by the Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti (MEI) within the international circuit of alternative labels.
With a global network of labels and artists, he receives records from all over the world daily. His collection, unique in its kind, is a sonic logbook. His work goes beyond the role of a DJ: he is a curator and explorer, constantly seeking timeless sounds, rescuing forgotten pieces and unknown treasures to give them new life within his sessions.
Each set is conceived as a unique work—a story in motion—where he creates original samplers drawn from sonic worlds ranging from old films and documentaries to home answering-machine tapes found at flea markets, reconstructing auditory landscapes with a deep aesthetic sensibility. He plants hidden messages that bloom and resonate differently in every mind—small symbols that reward careful attention—opening a singular cosmos: a journey where sound guides the listener through memory and emotion, creating inner universes that emerge only when one fully surrenders to the experience.
Navigating vast galaxies of sound, Diego crafts an immersive journey where everything intertwines like sonic constellations playing with the listener’s mind. His style is eclectic, alternative, and free, without boundaries. His mission is that of a musical astronaut: to traverse the universe of sound in search of new planets, frequencies, and ways of feeling, guiding us toward new worlds where connection is possible.
