Bird of Paradigm, is a musician, visual artist, radio DJ, and absurdist who’s passionate about sensual earthly splendor. She braids philosophy, global music analyses, political history, and a spiritual love of sonic culture in her radio show Paradigm Power Hour on Moon Glow Radio. Her collection ranges from 80’s Iranian pop, folk hymns from across the globe, experimental electronic weirdness, and the music history and cultural analysis to tie it all together. In her music practice, Bird of Paradigm combines unexpected sound effects, digital versions of traditional Iranian instruments, and “eastern yodel-core” wailing vocals. She values improvisation, intuition, and collective catharsis in music.
