Danny Rincon, aka DJ HYPNOTIQUE, is a local musician and producer better known to LA’s shoegaze community as Scrunchie. His recurring presentation of Alternative Echoes is a journey into the alternative music of the 90’s while juxtaposing the alternative music of later decades to demonstrate the evolution and continuation of music from generations past; highlighting how the sounds, textures, and spirit of 90s alternative live on through artists from the 2000s, 2010s, and beyond.
