Less than two months into dublab’s life as a station, Russian-born producer/turntablist DJ Vadim of London and MC/beatboxer Killa Kella came by for a live session of beats, rhymes and selections that were heavy on hip-hop, reggae and funk.

A true artifact of the international, independent hip-hop scene for which LA and dublab acted as hubs, this lovely lo-fi set features plenty of high-end scratching and badass beatboxing, along with some fun freestyling. It’s all bound to transport listeners back to an earlier era of hip-hop.
