Early photo of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band featuring Jackson Browne, second from left. He only played one or two gigs with them, but the band did get to record five of his early songs during the ’60s. NGBD in those years featured John McKuen, Jeff Hanna, Jimmy Fadden, Ralph Barr, Les Thompson, Bruce Kunkel and a bit later Chris Darrow.

Flyer for The Paradox on Tustin Avenue in the City of Orange, California. Doctor West’s Medicine Show featured Norman Greenbaum, and Jackson Browne is mis-spelled.

The only known interior photo of The Paradox, in Orange, California

Ticket stub for The Mecca in Buena Park, California. It had a joint venture called The Forum in Montclair, way out at the Eastern end of Los Angeles County near the desert.

Rare interior shot of The Mecca in Buena Park, California. Nice raw motif.
