Felix Figueroa and his Orchestra – “Pico and Sepulveda (The Street Song)” (Felix Figueroa was a pseudonym for Freddy Martin and his Orchestra, who were in 1947 when the record was cut, house band at The Ambassador Hotel’s Cocoanut Grove Ballroom on Wilshire Boulevard. Record originally released on the Ambassador label. “Figueroa” itself is also a major Los Angeles thoroughfare.)
