Ears to the Ground highlights the evolution of experimental music in the Global South through field recordings and sonic experiments. This mix weaves together our own field recordings from Kanha National Park with electronic music archives, and the work of many modern day practitioners from the Indian subcontinent and beyond.
ABOUT EARS TO THE GROUND
Ears To The Ground is a trans-media project from Indian sound-artists Krishna Jhaveri and Sanaya Ardeshir which centers activated listening, field recordings, and the potential dialogue around climate justice through sound-forward spaces, experiences and installations. The project is currently a young exploration of the oldest mountain range in India through sound – The Western Ghats. Find out more at www.ears2theground.org.
