From Eli:
In this mix I wanted to focus on composers that blur the line between the usual gamut of over the painfully over generalized terms of ambient, new age, or otherwise tonal contemplative music.
Most of the arrangements in what you’ll hear have a distinctive quality where traditional instruments blend with synthesizers, unique techniques in processing sound blur the line between organic and electronic timbres. It creates a non-time and place.
Every selection is off of a vinyl record that carefully came off of my shelves here in my new apartment in Friedrichshain (Berlin) and they each have a story to tell about me and about music. It’s deep mind music I consider beautiful. I hope you enjoy.
