One of trip-hop’s lead DJs and tastemakers in the 1990s, and the producer behind Tummy Touch Records, Tim “Love” Lee used to do special guest sets at dublab somewhat regularly in the station’s early years, chatting over each set with helpful info about Tummy Touch tracks, and other great electronic music of the time.

This set hails from a hot ass summer day in 2002, between the release of his 2000 album Just Call Me Lone Lee and the 2003 DJ mix Coming Home, blending styles that are too many to name (yet we will) including trip-hop, breaks, international and funky house. Trackless includes Mammal, Chilly Gonzalez, Patrick Dawes, Suba, Tim “Love” Lee’s remix of Bushy’s R’s Thing” along with other great Lee tracks, and much much more.

FROM THE VAULTS is an ongoing curation project produced by Ben Sinclair, resurfacing rare live performances and DJ sets recorded during dublab’s first ten years.
