This episode of Celsius Drop is a special warm up for Alice Coltrane: An Expansive Spirit, a free concert happening at Grand Performances in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, August 27th from 6-10pm in celebration of the legendary musician and spiritual leader’s 85th birthday.

Presented by The John and Alice Coltrane Home and dublab, The show will feature performances of Coltrane’s music by The Universal Consciousness Orchestra conducted and arranged by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and an ensemble led by Surya Botofasina of The Sai Anantam Ashram with singers including Sita Michelle Coltrane, Dwight Trible, and others. dublab DJs Teebs and Barbarelle will share musical offerings, Alex Pelly will mix live visual projections, and Harmony Holiday will read an original poem.
