MORE ABOUT HADE:

Hailing from the pastoral landscapes of the linke Niederrhein, HADE is a fixture of Cologne’s thriving nightlife. Besides releasing as HADE + DWFL on CGN’s Melting Pot Music, the DJ/Producer & keyboard whiz played clubs and festival stages across Europe and the US – alongside the likes of Hunee, Palms Trax, Jan Schulte, Dam Funk, Jackmaster, Leon Vynehall, Romare, Call Super, Lil Louis, Erobique and many more.

Together with DJ Phil Morris HADE runs his own club series „TIME TO:“ at Gewölbe (Cologne). In 2016, he helped launch Local Talk’s new sub-label TUNE with the “Freek Tool” under his Theo Walbeck moniker. The one-sided release was heavily supported by Laurent Garnier, Disclosure, Vin Sol and Axel Boman. The follow-up „Someone 2night“ hit the stores in March 2017.

Early 2017 saw him link-up with Brooklyn’s Razor-N-Tape label for the „HADE Edits“ EP, and a string of gigs in New York. Together with fellow Cologne-DJ Hodini (AKA Köln rap royalty Hulk Hodn) he joined forces on his EP for WOLF Music. In late 2017 he released yet another batch of edits on Berlin’s infamous OYE Edits – this time containing only German source material.

With a number of upcoming releases, „TIME TO:“ nights, and a vinyl-only label on the horizon, 2018 promises to become another big year for HADE’s vision of proto house, wave, experimental, disco and footwork variations.
