Celsius Drop
01.19.23

On his weekly Celsius Drop show, dublab co-founder Frosty guides you through an exploration of the vast Future Roots music spectrum.
This week, Frosty welcomes Sheila Chandra onto the program to talk about her remarkable sonic path. The two discuss Chandra’s work with the group Monsoon whose 1983 album Third Eye, with the hit song “Ever So Lonely,” was recently reissued on Cherry Red Records. Sheila also gives insight into her string of sublime solo albums on the Indipop and Real World labels and shares a selection of her favorite female vocal music. In 2010, Sheila was diagnosed with Burning Mouth Syndrome, a neurological disorder rendering speech painful. Due to this condition, she rarely speaks, so this interview is a rare gift that we are honored to share with you.
