Alpha Runner: New Age Volume 3

03.20.24

Gay Felony: Alpha Runner is the ongoing research journal of Scallion Chloe 8800. Monthly, she presents TransSensational documentation of her time-altering synthesis pursuits. These Post-Physical operations transcend genre but often take the form of House, Disco, Soul, Boogie and Techno of the recent past, with New Age, Ambient, Synth-Pop and Rock on the periphery of her experiments. Join monthly to add your grace to this incorporeal laboratory and assist with the ultimate queering process.

Recently, I went out in that desert. I went out with my love and felt that rock, that air, that spirit. We heard the desert people tell us why. We heard the wind tell us how. We huddled and felt and listened and allowed the blindness of flat to guide us. The desert returned these sounds as concepts delivered to its constituents. The constituents made these sounds physical, that the visitor might try to settle in them. I took that object and blent it with the city; with spires. I gave it to me when searching for vastness. I share it; in the vastness we might see a figure, a fellow traveler, and remember which way the ground goes and where the sky ends.
