Gigi Masin (Venice, Italy 1955) is an ambient composer, producer since the late ‘70s, contributed to art projects, movies, radio and theatre. He is known for his 1986 album ‘Wind’ that later became a cult classic, his track “Clouds” has been sampled by Bjork, Post Malone, and many others. His new album ‘Movement’ will be released end of May from Sacred Bones Records.
Every true music lover dreams or has dreamed of having his own private radio station where broadcast the music he loves or would like to make known to the world. The radio is my first love, if I could have continued (in Italy it was impossible) I would still be a night speaker with a sincere passion for jazz music…
I have hundreds of tape-cassettes and folders on my computer with all the music I love and that I have kept with the idea of having my own radio station… The selection of this ‘guest mix’ is made by drawing on those sources of joy and happiness.
Music and radio are like flowers of a wonderful garden, made of passion, beauty and enchanting poetry.
