A series of monthly radio shows on dublab.com, dedicated to gospel soul, funk and spirituals from the 1960s thru to the 1980s. The Divine Chord Gospel Show branches out into gospel influenced cuts and artists that crossed over to performing secular cuts too; so plenty of rarities all played from original vinyl, either on 45 or LP format.

This Saturday 24th January it’s the first Divine Chord Gospel Show of 2026, broadcasting on dublab.com out of Los Angeles, California.
Join me at 10am US PST (6pm UK GMT) as we launch a brand-new annual feature to add to our program calendar.
Since its inaugural show in June 2011, DCGS has featured over 5,000 tracks played on their originally released formats of 7” singles, 33rpm LPs & the occasional 12”. Many of those tunes have gone on to become cross over essentials, club-hardened evergreens, & legendary in their own right. We take pride in digging deep for freshly discovered music that’s in danger of being lost into the ether so we try never to have any duplicate plays, save for ‘End Of Year’ reviews, or when a guest provides a mix.
We’re introducing the ‘Archival Preservation Program Series’ to shine a light & revisit some of the amazing music that has been played on the Show. examining the ever-evolving collection, harking back to the earliest broadcasts that beamed out over the airwaves between 2011 and 2015.
