gtalks! radio x Sound Selections

03.03.26

From 6AM car radio in Ürümqi to the soundtrack of a night out in Peckham, gtalks! radio gathers sound waves from every corner of the world and weaves them into global narratives. What we hear is who we are.

The work of Junnade Ali (alt. Azal Hunzai, ETERNITY, أزل هنزائي) is driven by a deep commitment to exploring liberation, cosmopolitanism, and spirituality through the lens of Muslim cultural traditions and futurist creative expression. Drawing on a broad range of influences—from the literary, visual, and sonic networkings of Central and South Asia, global-city-youth-undergrounds, and the Muslim world at large—his practice aims to challenge historic centres of epistemic power, offering new perspectives on ancestrality, contemporaneity, and futurism.
