Local LA icon Dick Ensalada joins Heidi Lawden for music, chat, and a guest mix.

Dick Ensalada is an LA native and King of Los Angeles night life. He’s a respected figure on both the queer and straight scenes. He’s been dazzling and clacking his fan on dance floors at warehouse parties, clubs, and festivals since the tender age of 14. If you’ve been out and have heard a fan clack perfectly placed on the beat of the music then you have most likely shared a dance floor with him!

Dick Ensalada is now in demand for his skills in the booth. He has a unique perspective on music, fluidly combining synth-led tracks, both old and new, to create a sound of his own. He is a digger and looks to the foundations of Italo and House and those that came before him to hone in on what moves a floor. His infectious energy felt on the dance floor further ignites when he DJs a party. Make sure you’re ready to grind your hips and gyrate your pelvis, it’s impossible not to be moved from the waist down whenever he plays!
