Robert Carlos Lange and his sound outfit Helado Negro were introduced to us by another of dublab’s favorite musicians, Julianna Barwick. We thank her greatly for that creative connection. Roberto and crew are making thinking-people-music for deep-feeling-folks. They visited dublab on a broadcast day organized to assist in Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief. The broadcast, entitled DUBLAB LOVES JAPAN, featured an incredible array of talents focused on sending positive love vibrations to our friends affected by the disaster. Helado Negro performed an especially soul stirring rendition af their already highly compelling music.
