Rene Contreras - Viva! Talks

On The Time of Life, musician Jeff Parker curates an eclectic selection of music from his library of recordings, and occasionally invites guest selectors and performers from his wide community of collaborators and friends.

Jamire Williams is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. His list of collaborators reads like a who’s who of music, working with acclaimed figures such as Herbie Hancock, Solange Knowles, Jason Moran, Dev Hynes, Robert Glasper, Chassol, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Kara Walker, Christian Scott, Moses Sumney and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson to name a few. Williams was a key contributor and producer on Solange’s critically acclaimed album ‘When I Get Home’ and is currently touring worldwide as the drummer in Blood Orange. Recently Williams released a debut solo record entitled ‘///// Effectual’ on Leaving Records and is slated for a new release on the label this year.
