Inspired by JELLY’s wide range of interests, Blended Beats serves as a space where anything is possible.

Ever heard an anime intro over a house track? Or a wholesome voice memo blended with Smooth Jazz? You will now! This show fuses diverse genres, eras, and core memories to create a harmonious soundscape.

JELLY also invites guests to join the show ranging from casual playlist curators to booked-and-busy DJs. All sources of inspiration are not only welcomed, but celebrated here.

On this month’s episode, JELLY is joined by her Uncle Chris, aka Junior B.

Music has been the guiding light in every stage of Junior B’s life. His story begins in Jamaica, where he stayed with his beloved Auntie, while his Mother joined the Windrush Generation and moved to England. During this time, Junior B fell in love with the vibrant rhythms of Ska—the early heartbeat of Reggae.

At 10 years old, he reunited with his mother in England. During his four years there, he was introduced to a new wave of sounds—Elton John, Rod Stewart, and The Jackson 5. His journey took him back to Jamaica before leading him to a new chapter in Brooklyn. Inspired by artists like The Stylistics, Billy Joel, and Hall & Oates, Junior B quickly learned the importance of embracing all genres.

Now living in South Florida, his passion for music still burns bright. Whether he’s cooking up family feasts, hosting lively parties, or leading karaoke sessions, Junior B uses music as a way to bring people together and create lifelong memories.
