Across the Pond
06.24.26

An exploration into Tottie’s mind, as she showcases local and international artists. Across the Pond is an ode to those far distant cities she once lived in and still calls home. An international expose of leftfield house, disco and techno – and everything else in-between.
On the episode of Across the Pond, Kerri Spiteri steps in for Tottie.
As a vinyl DJ, Kerri draws on themes in music history—linking genres and eras to shape a sense of continuity. Spending her formative years in Chicago, her foundation in house music runs deep. Now based in LA, she carries that Midwest influence into her sets, weaving in modern electro, global disco, ’90s euro-dance, and golden-era hip-hop to create something that feels both rooted and current.
In honor of Pride Month and the birthplace of house music, the evening’s sound will be anchored in Chicago house, tracing the musical branches that blossomed from its roots. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the queer artists and allies whose creativity shaped the culture, from Frankie Knuckles to Sylvester and beyond.
