People’s Portal is a monthly segment hosted by Josephine Shetty, aka Kohinoorgasm, aspiring to bridge the visions of grassroots musicians with those of grassroots activists. Kohinoorgasm exclusively spins the music of experimental, unsigned, non-commercial, underground, and working class musicians, while each show features a conversation between the host and two guest artists/activists.

Issachar Curbeonis a Senegalese American facilitator, writer and coach based in New York City. She loves to share her musings on somatics, tarot and emotional justice in her instagram captions. Last year, she published ‘Show Me What You Want To Say’ a meditative workbook for Black Femmes. Feel free to slide in her DM’s for speaking opportunities or to ask her to facilitate a retreat.

Sukhpreet K Purewal is a queer Punjabi-Sikh writer, photographer, holistic practitioner (with a focus on tarot, astrology and numerology) and an aspiring death doula.
